At Jonco Group Paint and Fix, our roots run deep in Central Ohio, built on a foundation of hard work, family values, and a lifelong passion for the trade.

Our story began decades ago. Our founder, Jeff O’Neal, was introduced to the world of property maintenance at just seven years old, working alongside family to care for local rental properties. (Using his initials, J.O.N., he would later inspire the company’s name and the friendly mascot character you see on our logo today!) Throughout college, Jeff paid his way by working as a professional painter for Hilliard City Schools. It was during these formative years that he fell in love with the trade, especially that distinct feeling at the end of a hard day’s work: looking back at a space completely transformed and seeing the tangible, lasting results of what he had accomplished.

Life eventually led Jeff into the corporate world, where he spent years serving as a business executive right here in Central Ohio. He excelled at strategic growth, successfully scaling a regional company from $2 million to $4 million in revenue by focusing on one core principle: delivering exceptional value and building unwavering trust.

But no matter how successful his executive career became, Jeff missed that daily sense of accomplishment that only comes from working with your hands and directly solving problems for clients. He realized he wanted to channel his extensive business expertise and a lifetime of trade experience into something entirely his own—a company built to make life better and more financially secure for his children and his employees.

With that vision, Jonco Group Paint and Fix was born.
